Join City of Portland Waterfront Coordinator Bill Needleman for his world renowned guided historical walking tours. Bill will be departing at 12:00PM and 2:00PM. Each tour will be limited to 30 people. This is a first come, first serve walking tour. Stop by and sign up! Find the event info station behind the Gulf of Maine Research Institute.

Join Dr. Walt Golet for two tuna dissections at 11:30 and 1:00 on the green space behind Gulf of Maine Research Institute. Bluefin tuna in the Gulf of Maine are a critically important species, both biologically and commercially. Dr. Golet's current research focuses on understanding how bluefin tuna and other highly migratory species use habitats across the North Atlantic and how they feed and grow.

Fogg's Boatworks historical tours

 

MAINE Wharf

Foggs Water Taxi will be offering ticketed historical waterfront tours on their brand new Casco Bay Cat, a 40+ person vessel with a comfortable canopy and stable hull. Waterfront historian Jon Johansen will be on board, delivering commentary. Tickets are $30. Pack a lunch and bring your own beverage. The perfect way to see Portland and unwind.
